Data science is the process of using data to find patterns, get insights, and help make decisions. It combines skills from math, statistics, computer programming, and business.
A data scientist collects data, cleans it, analyzes it, and uses tools (like Python or R) to create charts, reports, or models. They might also build machine learning models to make predictions—like guessing which customer will buy a product.
In short, a data scientist turns raw data into useful information.
